Mix five well established, semi-professional musicians and
add music. The result could best be described as Alchemy!
With a large repertoire of classic rock songs from the '60s and 70's, the act also includes blues, soul and pop making this a hugely versatile band. With experience in many venues including pubs, clubs, weddings, parties and functions, Alchemy have the right mix of music to make your event a success.
Alchemy play south and south-west UK, mainly Hampshire, Dorset, Somerset and Devon.

Generally
found asleep between 9 and 5, singer/songwriter LazyBones swings (slowly) into action around
tea time. Also known as 'Captain
Spandex' and other unmentionables, his laid-back approach suggests narcolepsy, but stick a mic in his hand and his dynamic vocal technique and delivery more than make up for it.
Hailed
as the best guitarist in his street, John Murray is known for his
ability to bend bum notes until they fit, lending an emotional overtone to
his musical interpretation. Indeed, people are often seen crying openly after
his noteable performances. With almost as much ability as ego, John is the
epitome of a complete plank spanker.
Some old planks
Pat Lemon says he is one of the most versatile drummers around. With a
feel for genres from rock right through to strict tempo,
he lays down solid backline. We sometimes offer a prize for anyone
who can see him behind his kit, so far, Pat is the only one to have won
this. The only way we know he's there is the noise he makes. Pats

Bass
guitarist Ian posesses a wonderfully large stick and thumps
it frequently. He is renown for it, people coming from miles around to witness
the event. He usually does it in public, but will perform privately for a
price.
He also plays the bass!
Boasting
a huge organ, John Ackroyd certainly knows how to get the best from his equipment;
his portamento is especially impressive! Two pre-requisite for that 'classic
rock sound'; John's Hammond Organ growls impressively and his Leslie Cabinet
er, swirls in perfect sympathy. Very good really!
